Samples should be
representative of the volume and flow in the receiving water. If there is no flow in the receiving
water at Station R-1, then the Discharger is not required to sample at Station R-2. Receiving
water samples shall be taken from the following:
Station
1110
lM
Constituents
pH
Turbidity
Specific
Conductivity
Temperature
Dissolved Oxygen
VOCst
Upstream Flow
(estimated)
Upstream and out of the influence of the discharge to
Littlejohn Creek
500 feet downstream of the discharge to Littlejohn Creek
' I By USEPA Method 601 or equivalent, with a maximum PQL of 0.5 µg/1.
2 If any sample shows detectable volatile organics, the Discharger shall immediately
resample and reanalyze the receivino, water for the detected constitnent(s), and shall
continue sampling the receiving water on a weekly basis until the constituent(s)
concentrations are below detection.
In conducting the receiving water sampling, a log shall be. kept of the receiving water conditions
throughout the reach bounded by Stations R-1 and R-2. Attention shall be given to the presence
or absence of:
a- Floating or suspended matter
b. Discoloration
c.
