3. Recognizing employees who perform safe and healthful <br />work practices; <br />4. Providing training to workers whose safety performance <br />is deficient; and <br />5. Disciplining workers for failure to comply with safe <br />and healthful work practices. <br />Workers who follow safe and healthful work practices will have <br />this fact recognized and documented on their performance reviews. <br />Workers who are unaware of correct safety and health procedures <br />will be trained or retrained. <br />Willful violations of safe work practices (Appendix IIPP-1) may <br />result in disciplinary action in accordance with company <br />policies. <br />4.0 COMMUNICATION <br />Matters concerning occupational safety and health will be <br />cFommunicated to employees by'written documentation, staff <br />meetings, formal and informal training and posting. <br />communication from employees to supervisors and/or the safety <br />representatives about unsafe or unhealthy conditions is <br />encouraged and may be verbal or written, as the employee chooses. <br />NO EMPLOYEE WILL BE RETALIATED AGAINST FOR REPORTING HAZARDS <br />OR POTENTIAL HAZARDS OR FOR MAKING SUGGESTIONS RELATED TO <br />SAFETY. <br />The results of the investigation of any employee safety <br />suggestion or report of hazard will be distributed to all <br />employees affected by the hazard or shall be posted on <br />appropriate bulletin boards. <br />5.0 HAZARD ASSESSMENT <br />Each supervisor and/or safety representative will conduct an <br />inspection/investigation to assess unsafe work conditions and <br />practices: <br />1. Daily in all work areas; <br />2. Upon initiation of the IIPP; <br />WIIP-2 <br />
