including closure certification, will be completed for each closure stage to verify proper final closure construction. Stage 1 Stage I is a 90.2-acre area as shown on Figure 1. This area includes the final fill slopes on the northern and southern portions of the landfill from the edge of the base liner system up to an elevation of 150 feet above mean sea level (AMSC). The closure volume estimates are based on waste fill up to an elevation 150 feet AMSL down to the master plan base grades. As part of this project, the area will be cleared and grubbed, as necessary, and the closure improvements constructed (e.g., final cover, permanent drainage, landfill gas systems modification etc.).
