2.7 SAFETY LADDER <br /> Material used for the safety ladder shall conform to Detail 4/11 of the drawings. The rope <br /> material shall be UV resistant with anchor system as indicated. <br /> 2.8 RUBBER FLAP GATE <br /> The rubber flap gate material shall be as manufactured by Hydro Gate or approved equivalent. <br /> The opening pressure for discharge shall be no more than 1 psi. <br /> 2.9 RIPRAP <br /> Riprap shall conform to the requirements of Section 72 of the Standard Specifications, '/ ton <br /> class. The Contractor shall submit Certificates of Compliance indicating that the material <br /> supplied is in accordance with the Project Specifications. <br /> 2.10 GRAVEL LOG ANCHOR <br /> Gravel for gravel log anchor shall be per Paragraph 2.6 Coarse Gravel for Section 02300 Earth <br /> Work of these Specification; 16 oz. geotextile shall be per Section 02771 Geotextile of these <br /> Specifications. <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> 3.1 SUBGRADE PREPARATION <br /> Prior to pipe installation of piping system the subgrade of the desilting basin and the leachate <br /> impoundment basin shall conform to the lines, grades, details, and notes shown on the Drawings, <br /> and as referenced in these Specifications. <br /> 3.2 PIPE INSTALLATION <br /> Pipe shall be placed on bedding layer composed of approved gravel with the perforations <br /> positioned as indicated on the Drawings. <br /> Pipe shall be cut in a manner so as to ensure square ends. Burrs at cut ends shall be removed <br /> prior to installation so that a smooth unobstructed flow will be obtained. <br /> Installation of HDPE fittings and joints shall conform to manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> The pipe shall not be concealed until a final record survey has been completed and the Engineer <br /> has approved the pipe installation. <br /> Pipe and fittings shall be held firmly in position and protected from damage while drainage <br /> gravel or backfill is being placed. All pipe and fittings shall be clean upon installation and kept <br /> so during the progress of the work. <br /> Any pipe that becomes either partially or fully clogged and/or damaged before final acceptance <br /> shall be cleaned/repaired to the satisfaction of the Engineer and/or replaced at the Contractor's <br /> expense. Secure pipe pursuant to details indicated on the Drawings. <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL 02645 <br /> 6 MISCELLANEOUS CIVIL IMPROVEMENTS <br />
