The interface and side slope liner will consists of a Geosyenthic <br /> Clay Liner(GCL) overlain with a 60-mil thick, single sided textured HDPE geomembrane. The <br /> interface and side slope liner is an engineered alternative that complies with the facilities waste <br /> discharge requirements and that has been previously approved and used at other WMUs at Forward <br /> Landfill. <br /> The following issues should be addressed in the final CQA report: <br /> 1. The Final Construction Quality Assurance Report for both waste management units must include <br /> sufficient information for RWQCB staff to determine that the units were constructed in general <br /> compliance with plans and with requirements. <br /> 2. Provide As-built drawings of the major components of WMU FU-03 and WMU F-`'Fest, <br /> including the leachate collection system,pipe layout, top of subgrade, top of gravel, top of <br /> operations layer, sump connections and a map showing location of all CQA testing. <br /> 3. Copies of weekly construction reports should be FAXed to Regional Board staff each week. <br /> Daily, weekly and other construction reports and change orders should be documented in the <br /> final CQA report. <br /> Staff finds that the design plans and specifications comply with Title 27 CCR and the facility's waste <br /> discharge requirements and staff concurs with the Design Plan. <br /> If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 255-3814. <br /> ROSS D.
