The revised plan proposes phased closure of the Forward Landfill, provides <br />an estimate of the maximum area to be closed, an updated anticipated closure schedule for the initial <br />closure stage, and an updated closure cost estimate. <br />Staff concurs with the revised Closure/Post-Closure Maintenance Plan; the plan complies with Title <br />27 and will minimize the amount of landfill gas and leachate generated by landfill operations. <br />If you have any questions, please call me at (916) 464-4614. <br />ROSS D.
