Sukut began hauling
granular drainage material (GDM)using the transfer trucks. They began utilizing the D4 and D6 to spread
the granular drainage material from east to west. In the early morning,I asked the acting on site
superintendent,King B.,if he were going to continue finish grading the granular drainage material to the
north of the placement area and he stated he would not, parked his tracker and left the job site. Hauling and
placement of the GDM continued with the on site foreman, Tim S.,operating the D6 and grading the
material to finished grade. With this number of trucks, approximately 900 tons of GDM would be hauled. I
personally checked the thickness of the material while it was placed next to the D6 because the grade setter
normally on site torform this duty was not on site. The acting foreman stated that they would not return
on site until the 29 of this month.
Coarse gravel was placed over the LCRS pipe in the northeast quadrant for a distance of approximately
fifty feet.
The FU-03 sump pump was set up at various times throughout the day in anticipation of the upcoming
wet weather.
One concrete truck arrived on site in the late afternoon with nine(9)yards of cement slurry and poured
the northeast FU-03 cell anchor trench at the 5:1 and 2:1 slopes.
The conveyor previously used for GDM placement was removed from the jobsite by flatbed truck.
Aak
Prepared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev.0 1 of 1
r-7.
