ROLLS: 10/14225 <br /> ORDER NO.: 28547 SP-1 PRODUCT TYPE: BENTOFIX® NWL-35 <br /> Bentofix Technologies, Inc. hereby certifies that the Bentofix® Geosynthetic Clay Liner <br /> purchased and shipped for the above referenced project does meet or exceed Bentofix <br /> Technologies, Inc.'s specifications for Bentofix®. <br /> The Bentofix® product has been continuously inspected for the presence of needles and is <br /> certified to be needle free. <br /> The tests listed for the bentonite component have been performed on each batch of <br /> bentonite. The Swell Index according to ASTM D5890, the Moisture Content according to ASTM <br /> D4643 and the Fluid Loss according to ASTM D5891 were tested at least once per 100,000 lbs of <br /> bentonite. <br /> The tests listed for the finished geosynthetic clay liner have been performed at least once <br /> every 3,716 sq. mt. [40,000 sq. ft.] for the Bentonite Mass Per Unit Area according to ASTM <br /> D5993 and the Grab Tensile/Elongation and Peel Strength according to ASTM D4632. <br /> The tests listed for the finished geosynthetic clay liner have been performed at least once <br /> every 18,580 sq. mt. [200,000 sq. ft.] for the geotextile components. <br /> The finished geosynthetic clay liner Hydraulic Conductivity was tested at least once every <br /> 9,290 sq. mt. [100,000 sq. ft.] according to method ASTM D5084. The Index Flux was tested at <br /> least once per week according to ASTM D5887 and is certified to meet the required specification <br /> of< 1 x 10-13m3/m2/sec. <br /> The typical Internal Shear Strength of the finished geosynthetic clay liner according to <br /> ASTM D6243 is certified to be 500 psf for specimens hydrated for 24 hrs. and sheared under a <br /> 200 psf normal stress as tested on a periodic basis. <br /> The lot and roll numbers for this project are as follows: <br /> LOT# 13110509---- <br /> ROLL# 97450, 97451, 97453, 97455, 97458, 97459, 97460, 97461, 97462, 97569---- <br /> P �--f ((.
