Each specimen of geomembrane was cut to 14" x 20" and Damped to the lower shear box, texture up. <br />2. The Cushion Geotextile was clamped to the upper shear box. <br />3. Each test specimen was consolidated for 2 hrs. at the specified normal stress, then sheared. <br />4. The test was performed in a "wet" or "flooded" condition. <br />5. Shearing occurred at the interface of the textile and geomembrane specimens. <br />6. Some rounding and smoothing of the asperities on the HDPE occurred to the 4th point <br />7. The Friction Angle and Adhesion (or Cohesion) results given here are based on a mathematically determined best fit line. <br />8.
