<br />PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
<br />I. The Forward Landfill, SWIS #39 -AA -0015, is a permitted class II and class III
<br />waste disposal facilites I—c ted at 9999 South Austin Road, Manteca, San
<br />Joaquin County, California. It is owned and operated by Forward Incorporated,
<br />a subsidiary of Allied Waste Industries.
<br />II. On June 4, 2002, this LEA conducted routine inspection and noted that the
<br />concentration of methane gas in the gas monitorig probe GP -10, located a few
<br />feet north of the scale house, was 7%. Gas monitoring probes GP -1, 2, 3,
<br />located along the west boundary, were removed 4ithout notification to LEA.
