XII. On October 3, 2003, this LEA prepared and sent to the operator the Notice and <br />Order 03-01 for the violation of Explosive Gases Control, Section 20919.5 of <br />27CCR. <br />XIII. On October 24, 2003. this LEA received the progress report for Notice and <br />Order 03-01. According to the progress report, the landfill gas system <br />expansion project was completed on October 2, 2003, and the vacuum had been <br />applied to the new extraction wells. <br />XIV. On October 24, 2003. this LEA conducted routine inspection and noted that the <br />concentration of methane gas in the gas monitoring probe GP -9 (which replaces <br />GP -2), located near the west boundary, was 40%. This was documented under <br />the violation of Explosive Gases Control, Section 20919.5 of 27CCR. <br />XV. On November 20, 2003, this LEA conducted routine inspection and noted that <br />the concentration of methane gas in the gas monitoring <br />i both of which were located <br />replaces GP -3) and GP -9 (which replaces GP -2), <br />near the west boundary, was 9% and 41 %, respectively. This was documented <br />under the violation of Explosive Gases Control, Section 20919.5 of 27CCR. <br />XVI. <br />On December 23, 2003, this LEA conducted routine inspection and noted that <br />in the monitoring probes GP -8 (which <br />the concentration of methane gas gas <br />replaces GP -3) and GP -9 (which replaces GP -2), both of which were located <br />near the west boundary, was 9.5% and 44%, respectively. This was <br />of Explosive Gases Control, Section 20919.5 of <br />documented under the violation <br />27CCR. <br />XVII. <br />On January 14, 2004, at therequest <br />orth $Explosive Gased the Notice Control were <br />that the violations cited f <br />Order 03-01 so <br />consistent for 3 consecutive months. <br />XVIII. <br />On January 30, 2004, this LEA conducted routine inspection and noted that the <br />in the monitoring probes GP -8 (which <br />concentration of methane gas gas <br />GP -3) and.
