The enclosed Monitoring Report Compliance Checklist <br /> summarizes our comments on the report. The report is complete. <br /> The presence of mercury, sulfide and 3-&-4-Methylphenol in leachate has been confirmed in <br /> two consecutive leachate samples. These constituents should be added to the COC list and <br /> analyzed in future groundwater samples. <br /> Remediation of the VOC contaminant plume north of the Austin Road Unit is ongoing. <br /> However, the VOCs found in groundwater supply wells at the Northern California Youth Center <br /> (NCYC) suggest that the groundwater contamination may not be contained.
