Construction <br /> 1. Continued exposing the east edge of the liner in FU-05, using the backhoe, loader and 2 laborers. <br /> 2. Continued construction of the new temporary berms in the north area of FU-06, using scrapers to <br /> deliver and place material from the berm removed from the east side of FU-05.. <br /> 3. Continued placement for the 5:1 slope above the bench; scrapers place material from the "wedge" <br /> ® stockpile in FU-06; the D6 dozer trims the outside slope and works in the borrow. <br /> II. Testing <br /> 1. Completed pounding Proctor Compaction on sample SGP-1. <br /> 2. Performed 6 FDT's (Field Density Tests-nuclear method) in compacted Subgrade soils placed on the <br /> 5:1 slope; tests SG-1 through SG-6 indicate "passing"results similar to previous work here. <br /> 3. Performed 2 FDT's in compacted fill for the new tempory berms in the north area of FU-06; both tests <br /> indicate passing results. <br /> III.
