GTF removed approximately 2.4 pounds of volatile organic compounds(CH2M Hill
2005). •
3.2 SUMNURY
Groundwater quality conditions beneath the Austin Unit during the first quarter 2006
monitoring period are generally similar to historical results. During the first quarter 2006
monitoring period CLs were exceeded in DMP wells AMW-7,AMW-12,AMW-13, and
AMW-14. In addition, statistically significant increasing VOC concentrations were noted
in well AMW-13,while statistically significant decreasing VOC trends were calculated in
well -14. In the CAP wells, trend analyses are performed instead of comparison to
CLs. During the current monitoring period, statistically significant increasing trends
were noted for VOCs in wells AMW-1 and AMW-10,while several decreasing VOC
trends were noted for CAP well AMW-11. As summarized in the Annual Corrective
Action Evaluation prepared by Herst&Associates (2005),no CAP wells have exceeded
the site's threshold limits.
D:\2003_021\ForwardAusBn_w06.doc\4/20/2006
14 Geologic Associates
