The final moisture contents ranged from 58 to 65 %. <br />All Geosynthefic specimens were free floated between the upper and lower boxes. <br />Soil specimens were remolded into both upper and lower boxes. <br />The full lest section was hydrated for 24 hours at 100psf in the shear box. <br />After hydration, points were consolidated for 2 hours at the specified normal stress, then sheared. <br />Shearing occurred at the interface of the sub -grade soil in the lower box and the Geocomposite on points 1 and 2. <br />Shearing occurred at the interface of the sub -grade soil in the upper box and GCL for the first part of the test and <br />^t the interface of the soil in the lower box and Gecomposite for the second part of the test for point 3. <br />"Observable displacement, stretching or abrasion occurred at the other interfaces for test pts. 1. 2 8 3. <br />data and resort represented on this oace.
