Batch: A quantity of resin, usually the capacity of one railcar, used in the fabrication
of high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane sheet. The finished sheet will be
identified by a roll number corresponding to the particular quantity of resin used.
B. Bridging: The condition when geomembrane becomes suspended over its subgrade
due to contraction of the material or poor installation.
C. QA/QC Consultant: The party, independent from Manufacturer or CONTRACTOR,
that is responsible for observing and documenting activities related to the quality
assurance of production and installation of the geosynthetic components of the lining
system.
D. Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) Laboratory: The party, independent from the
OWNER, Manufacturer, Fabricator, and Installer, responsible for conducting tests on
samples of geosynthetics obtained at the site.
Forward Landfill WMU FU -06 HIGH DENSITY POLYETHYLENE
02778 2 (HDPE) GEOMEM 3RANE
•
•
