Sample DocwnenWon and Custody <br /> Field notes will be recorded on daily field technician reports which are filed in the project fIe_ <br /> Information to be recorded will inchide at a ' ' nun the project <br /> name, PrOjectnumber, date, <br /> sample location,weather,and name of sampler. 4thar information which may be pertinent to the <br /> project will be recorded,including any deviation's from the standard procedures. Each-page will <br /> be signed upon. completion.. An exathple of a Field Technician's Daffy Report is located in <br /> Appendix B_, <br /> Collected samples will be accompanied by a chaui-of-custody record. Each sample will have its <br /> own unique sample identific ation mmiber, sample iocation, date and time of collei:tion, and <br /> appropriate Preservative clearly labeled with a permanent marker alone with-a sarttplc _ . <br /> seal affixed around the sample battle cap. The unique sample identification number consists of a <br /> unique five-digit number_ F <br /> 3 <br /> The information described above including the unique sampe identification nUMber, along with <br /> the analyses to be performed,will be included on the Purge Characterization and-Sample Log <br /> Chain-of-custody forms will include the following_ <br /> - - I?ate of Sample _ <br /> Project Numbs- <br /> ' Project Narrme - - <br /> • 'rune ofSamplc <br /> Sample Nuumbcr je.g.624b31 <br /> Analyses to be Performed <br /> Signature of Sampler ° <br /> A samnple chain-of_custody forth is in Appendix B_ Samples will remain in the custody of the - <br /> Bold technician at all tines during the sampling activities..
