1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> On behalf of Forward Inc. (Forward),this report presents water quality monitoring data <br /> generated during the first quarter 2007 monitoring period for the Forward Landfill in San. <br /> Joaquin County, California. Monitoring was performed in accordance with requirements <br /> listed in the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board(RWQCB) Order No. <br /> R5-2003-0049. For reporting purposes the water quality monitoring network consists of <br /> two units: the Forward Unit and the Austin Unit. Section 1 provides a description of the <br /> monitoring network, site inspections, and standard observations; Sections 2 and 3 include <br /> discussions of water quality data for the Forward and Austin Units,respectively. <br /> 1.1°` MONITORING NETWORK <br /> The water quality monitoring network at the Forward Unit currently includes 20 <br /> groundwater monitoring wells, one domestic well, two surface water monitoring stations, <br /> and 18 lysimeters(Figure 1-1).
