Sampling Frequency and Locations <br />Shaw will perfionia one asbestos monitoring test darling the months of March and October for <br />each year. rhe asbestos level will be continuously monitored by collecting 8 -hour low-volunic <br />asbestos air samples on the one chosen (lay. The sampling day will be chosen In coordination <br />with Allied to coincide witli the landfill's asbestos disposal -related activities. Four <br />representative sites within the landfill fencellne will be sampled in this study_ <br />Consistent with generally accepted practice for ambient air Monitoring site selection, the sampler <br />will be placed at a location that meets file following requirements to the maximurn extent <br />possible: <br />-1-he terrain will be level and will have no ri-i'lior obstructions (vegetation or other <br />physical obstructions). <br />The sampler inlet will be at a breathing level ol'approxViTiately 2 nieters above ground <br />level and will face vertically downward. <br />AIM& A duplicate set of Integrated air sampling equipment will be co -located al one of' the sites <br />downwind of'rhe active work areas- The duplicate sampling equipment will be located within <br />to 4 meters of the co -located equipment. <br />r� <br />Upon completion of the sampling event and sample analysis, Shaw will tabulate the field data <br />and prepare a TCI)Ort to be submitted to the local enforcement agency (11',A).
