Upon sample receipt, the laboratory QC coordinator or a designated alternate will perform the <br /> following: <br /> • If any sample has been damaged during shipment, the remaining samples are <br /> examined carefully to determine whether they are affected. Any samples affected are <br /> also considered damaged. <br /> • A notation is made on the COC record that specific samples were damaged and that <br /> the samples were removed from the analytical program. Field personnel are notified <br /> that samples were damaged. The field personnel will be provided with an estimated <br /> cause of damage. <br /> • Compare samples received against those listed on the chain-of-custody. <br /> • Sign and date the COC form and attach the waybill to the COC. <br /> • Enter the samples in the field data sheet or log-in book which contains the following <br /> information: <br /> • Project identification number <br /> • Sample numbers <br /> • Types of samples <br /> • Date of received in laboratory <br /> • Date put in storage after analysis is complete <br /> • Date of disposal <br /> Samples that will be received and analyzed at the off-site ATEM analytical laboratory P yz yt o ory well be <br /> held for the required periods following report of data before disposal. <br /> .uws«rw, t nates MW�M.Rid D.a sf dw <br /> 9.6.as 7-3 <br />
