Sample Documentation and Custody Field notes will be recorded on daily field technician reports which are fled in the project file. Information to be recorded willinclude ata mm1Mum the project name, project number, date, sample location,weadier,and.name of sampler. Other information which may be pertinent to the project will be recorded,including any deyiaiions from the standard procedures. EachPa$a va be signed upon completion. An ccample of a- ield Technician's Daily Report is located in Appendix B., Collected samples will be accompanied by a c " -of-custody.record. Each sample-will have its own unique sample identific a ion number, sample location, date and time of collcttdon, and appropriate prestrindve clearly labeled with a permanent marker along"witb-a sample custody_ seal affixed around the sample bottle cap. Theunique.sample identification number consists of a unique five-digit number. The iafornxation described above including the unique sample identification number, along Vath the analyses to be perfb=4 will be included on Purge Ch=cterixatlon and Sample Log. Samples will remain in the custody of the - field technician at all hues during thesampling activities. At the end of the day the technician Will drive to the office where the samples wilt be placed under chain-of-cmstody dontrol in the sample control refiigcrator.
