<br /> restoration and new levee construction, dam repair, sea wall and river channel construction, water and
<br /> wastewater treatment, impoundment closure, landfill construction, refinery turnaround projects, US and
<br /> Russian military base closure, oil well fire closure in Kuwait, underground storage-tank removal and

<br /> Central Valley Region, CA, 2008-Present. Currently managing the environmental planning,
<br /> permitting, compliance and implementation activities for one active landfill, two transfer stations and
<br /> three closed landfills in the central valley region of California. Responsibilities include; construction
<br /> projects for landfill cells, gas extraction wells and remedial facilities. Budgeting, engineering, operations
<br /> and cost tracking for new development and closure and post closure activities at multiple sites. Facilitate
<br /> permitting, design, regulatory inspections, site expansion, operating plans, fill sequencing plans, and
<br /> health and safety plans. Monthly soil tracking, air monitoring, landfill gas monitoring, groundwater
<br /> monitoring, and compilation and submittal of all status reports. Operation and maintenance of the landfill
<br /> gas collection systems, groundwater treatment systems, composting areas, and leachate and storm water
<br /> collection systems. Perform ongoing public relations and due diligence activities through communication
<br /> with corporate office,regulatory agency representatives,third party consultants and local neighbors.
<br /> General Manager, Vino Piazza and Olde Lockeford Winery, CA; Facility Renovation and
<br /> Management, 2000-2008. Managed the Vino Piazza complex of 14 wineries, 2 restaurants, and other
<br /> associated businesses in Lockeford, CA. Managed the site restoration of a 50-acre industrial property.
<br /> Areas of responsibility included the daily oversight of wine quality, public-water supply quality, storm
<br /> water pollution prevention plan, wastewater treatment and disposal, solid waste management and
<br /> personnel safety and health training programs. Also managed ongoing construction work, maintenance
<br /> and repair,all environmental monitoring and reporting requirements,and profit and loss accountability.
