Employees receive a <br /> copy of the emergency response plan at hire. <br /> Employees also attend the "Basic Hazardous Waste Awareness Course" given by <br /> the San Joaquin County Office of Emergency Services. The course emphasizes <br /> familiarity with the types of containers and labels typically used for hazardous <br /> waste and other materials. The course is repeated annually. All new employees <br /> are enrolled in the course at the earliest available class after their hire. <br /> Specific emergency response and evacuation procedures for all Forward <br /> employees and members of the emergency response team are covered in the <br /> training sessions conducted at the site throughout the year. <br /> It should be noted that the Compost Facility will be supervised by a director of <br /> operations, who will be on-site 40 hours per week during regular business hours. <br /> 5.0 PLAN REVISION <br /> A copy of the LEA-approved GIMP will be kept at the designated Compost Facility <br /> Office. The plan will be reviewed at a minimum of once yearly on the anniversary <br /> of its approval and any necessary changes and updates will be made.
