AMW-5R, and AMW-18, chloride at AMW-5R, nitrate at AMW4 and AMW-5R, field pH at
AMW-4, AMW-5R, and AMW-19BR, potassium at AMW-5R, sodium at AMW-5R, field
specific conductance at AMW-1 and AMW-5R, strontium at AMW-18, sulfate at AMW-5R and
AMW-10, TDS at AMW-5R, and field turbidity at AMW-5R and AMW-10. Carbonate at
AMW-5R exhibited an apparent increasing trend according to the Mann-Kendall / Sen's Slope
analysis, but this trend is due to a historical increase in the laboratory RL.
The third quarter 2010 concentration of barium at AMW-1 (0.39 mg/L) is comparable to
historical concentrations observed at that well, and is well below the National Primary Drinking
Water Standard (2 mg/L). The third quarter 2010 concentration of barium at AMW-5R (0.345
mg/L) is comparable to historical concentrations observed at that well, and is well below the
National Primary Drinking Water Standard(2 mg/L).
The third quarter 2010 concentration of bicarbonate at AMW-1 (734 mg/L) is comparable to
historical concentrations observed at that well. The third quarter 2010 concentration of
bicarbonate at AMW-5R(404 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that well and at
predecessor well AMW-5 since August 2003. The third quarter 2010 concentration of
bicarbonate at AMW-18 (267 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that well since
August 2004. The third quarter 2010 concentration of chloride at AMW-5R (102 mg/L) is
comparable to historical concentrations observed at that well and at predecessor well AMW-5,
and is below the National Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250 mg/L). The third quarter
2010 concentration of nitrate at AMW-4 (0.514 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed
at that well since February 2008, and is below the National Primary Drinking Water Standard(10
mg/L). The third quarter 2010 concentration of nitrate at AMW-5R(27.4 mg/L) is comparable to
historical concentrations observed at that well, and exceeds the National Primary Drinking Water
Standard(10 mg/L).
The third quarter 2010 field pH value at AMW-4 (8.41 s.u.) is within the National Secondary
Drinking Water Standard range of 6.5 - 8.5 s.u. The third quarter 2010 field pH value at AMW-
5R (7.39 s.u.) is comparable to historical values observed at that well, and is within the National
Secondary Drinking Water Standard range of 6.5 - 8.5 s.u. The third quarter 2010 field pH value
at AMW-19BR (7.63 s.u.) is comparable to historical values observed at that well, and is within
the National Secondary Drinking Water Standard range of 6.5 - 8.5 s.u. The third quarter 2010
concentration of potassium at AMW-5R (8.35 mg/L) is comparable to historical concentrations
observed at that well and at predecessor well AMW-5. The third quarter 2010 concentration of
sodium at AMW-5R(78.8 mg/L) is comparable to historical concentrations observed at that well.
The third quarter 2010 field specific conductance value at AMW-1 (1,331 umhos/cm) is
comparable to historical values observed at that well. The third quarter 2010 field specific
conductance value at AMW-5R (1,273 umhos/cm) is comparable to historical values observed at
that well and at predecessor well AMW-5. The third quarter 2010 concentration of strontium at
AMW-18 (0.919 mg/L)is comparable to concentrations observed at that well since August 2004.
The third quarter 2010 concentration of sulfate at AMW-5R (82.5 mg/L) is comparable to
historical concentrations observed at that well and at predecessor well AMW-5, and is well below
the National Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250 mg/L). The third quarter 2010
concentration of sulfate at AMW-10 (54.6 mg/L) is comparable to historical concentrations
observed at that well, and is well below the National Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250
mg/L). The third quarter 2010 concentration of TDS at AMW-5R (819 mg/L) is comparable to
historical concentrations observed at that well. The third quarter 2010 field turbidity value at
AMW-5R(228 NTUs) is comparable to historical values observed at that well. The third quarter
4
