Construction Activities <br />I . Guinn Construction continued finish grade work on the floor using the 143H blade w/GPS. Scrapers <br />collect the trimmings for delivery to a stockpile in the SWC of the future expansion area. <br />2. Guinn Construction started the smooth drum roller on the 2:1 slope. <br />3. Guinn Construction continued excavating the sumps for the leachate collection tanks; the D6 rips the <br />compacted subgrade; excavation is by the 420E backhoe. Scrapers take trimmings to stockpile. <br />4. Guinn Construction removed the existing 3" perforated pipe from behind the location of the <br />temporary south berm on the FU -08 deck. The 32 1 C excavator and 2 spotters continued removing <br />cover soils between the removed pipes and the shoulder of the 5:1 slope on FU -10. <br />IL CQA Activities <br />I . CQA performed ASTM D I 557A Proctor compaction on Subgrade Fill sample SFS -5. <br />2. CQA counted 8 rolls of GCL Bentomat left over from previous projects: no roll numbers could be <br />located; CQA has the original inventory on this material indicating the MQC certificates were <br />approved - <br />3.
