The Plan is submitted per <br /> Title 27 of the California Code of regulations, Section 20937 (27 CCR, §20937). <br /> In order to remedy landfill gas issues at this site, the operator is proposing to install fifteen (15) <br /> additional in-fill landfill gas extraction wells and ten (10) Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) wells. <br /> Nine of the vertical gas extraction wells will be installed in the Forward Unit and the remaining <br /> six are proposed to be installed in Austin Road Unit. The SVEs are proposed to be installed in <br /> native soil on an east west trending line along the southern border of the Forward Unit. All of <br /> the proposed wells will be connected to the existing headers on site. <br /> Based on our review of the Plan, CalRecycle approves the proposed remediation. <br /> Should you have any questions or comments regarding the above matter, please contact Gino <br /> Yekta at(916) 341-6354. <br />
