N N <br />April 8, 2014 <br />n. 25 Forward 1993 (D6) <br />Forward, Inc. shall schedule regular deliveries of waste at the landfill to <br />minimize queuing and idling. <br />Current Status: Deliveries of waste to the landfill are generally scheduled in <br />advance. <br />o. 26 Austin 1994 (G2.b), Austin 2000 (G2.b) <br />The idling of all intemal combustion equipment shall be limited to ten <br />minutes at any given time. <br />Current Status: A sign is posted to restrict idling time to ten minutes. <br />p. 27 Austin 1994 (G2.a), Austin 2000 (G2.a) <br />All intemal combustion engine driven equipment should be property <br />maintained and tuned according to manufacturers specifications. <br />Current Status: Forward routinely maintains all onsite equipment to <br />manufacturer's specifications. <br />q. 28 Forward 1993 (D8) <br />All VOC-contaminated soil which is not being treated shall be covered with <br />six -mil non porous plastic. <br />Current Status: VOC contaminated soils are disposed directly into <br />appropriate waste management units and covered as part of daily cover <br />operations. <br />r. 29 Forward 1993 (D9) <br />If VOC emissions exceed APCD limits for open aeration, a VOC collection <br />and removal system shall be installed to minimize VOC emissions. <br />Current Status: Forward is not currently treating VOC contaminated soils <br />by open aeration. VOC contaminated soils are disposed directly into <br />appropriate waste management units and covered as part of daily cover <br />operations. <br />s. 30 Forward 1993 (D 10) <br />Any net increase in VOC emissions which remain atter the installation of a <br />collection/removal system shall be offset to the degree required by <br />SJVUAPCD-Rule 220.1 <br />Page 37 <br />
