Austin Road <br /> Manteca.CA 95336 <br /> (209)982-4298, Fax(209)982-1009 <br /> September 11, 2014 <br /> JN: 2014-0012 <br /> Mr. Brendan Kenny <br /> Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> 11020 Sun Center Drive,Suite 200 <br /> Rancho Cordova,CA 95670-6114 <br /> SUBJECT: REVISED SECOND QUARTER 2014 <br /> WATER QUALITY MONITORING REPORT <br /> FORWARD LANDFILL <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY,CALIFORNIA <br /> Forward Incorporated (Forward) is pleased to resubmit the subject water quality monitoring report <br /> for the Forward Landfill in compliance with reporting requirements of the Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board - Central Valley Region (RWQCB) Waste Discharge Requirements (WDRs) Order <br /> Number R5-2014-0006. This revised report presents quarterly sampling results for the reporting <br /> period dating from April 1 to June 30, 2014 (second quarter 2014) and includes the following <br /> additional information requested by the RWQCB. <br /> • Daily flow rates for leachate in gallons per day—Sections 2.1.6, 3.1.9,Appendix A <br /> • Additional information on the three inaccessible pan lysimeters—Section 2.1.5 <br /> • Revised groundwater contour figure(Austin Unit)including June with April measurement <br /> data—Section 3.1.3, Figure 3-1 <br /> • Daily land application area inspection logs—Appendix D <br /> • Daily cannery wet weight totals—Appendix D <br /> • Corrective Action Monitoring Report(Herst&Associates)—Section 3.1.11,Appendix C <br /> • Include well AMW-6 as a detection monitoring well and calculate concentration limits— <br /> Section 1.1,Tables 3-1,3-2, 3-3 <br /> To address these revisions, the second quarter 2014 water quality monitoring report is being <br /> resubmitted in its entirety. For clarity the revised report also included separate appendixes for the <br /> landfill gas monitoring reports, corrective action monitoring report, and cannery waste land <br /> application monitoring reports. <br /> I certify under penalty of law,that I have personally examined and am familiar with the information <br /> submitted in this document and all attachments, and that based on my inquiry of those individuals <br /> immediately responsible for obtaining this information, I believe that the information is true, <br /> accurate, and complete. I am aware that there are significant penalties for submitting false <br /> information, including the possibility of fine and imprisonment. <br />
