All peraneter 9,L, anonitoring probes were inspected. The probes
were inspected for physical condition t Labeling. nit sishm from the probe, well integrity, etc.), gas
levels and negative pressure. A GENT` 2 NAV gas analyzer was used for the gas readings. A
magnehelic with a maximum negative pressure of 5 inches of water was used to measure the
negative pressure. A timer was used to measure the recovery time after sampling was completed
(the time it takes the magnehelic to return to 0 after sampling ends).
Forward Landfill was inspected from 10127/14-10/29/14. No methane was detected in any of the
probes. None of the wells had a negative pressure that exceeded the limit of the magnehelic. All
of the wells fully recovered after sampling. There %vas erosion around well #5, leaving part of the
well exposed. This area must be sealed off.
Enclosed you will find the perimeter gas monitoring results. This site will be inspected next year
and another letter with the corresponding results will be mailed.
If you have any questions, you may contact Ben Escotto, Senior REHS, at (209) 468-3178.
Environmental ffealth Department
Enclosures
