• were reported dry during the second quarter 2016 monitoring period. Under the existing CAP, the
groundwater treatment facility pumped 25.0 million gallons of groundwater removing an estimated 1.20
pounds of VOCs.
In an effort to define the lateral and vertical limits of the VOC plume, Forward is currently in the process of
obtaining permission from property owners to install additional evaluation monitoring program (EMP)wells
downgradient of Austin Road Unit(ARU)and is also preparing an Updated EMP Workplan to RWQCB for
the additional EMP wells. The EMP Workplan will include a Groundwater Monitoring Well Installation
Workplan and time schedule to define the lateral and vertical extent of contamination downgradient of the
ARU. Based on the results of the Updated EMP Workplan, Forward will also prepare a revised
Engineering Feasibility Study that may include revisions to the corrective action program and evaluation
procedures previously described in the Evaluation Procedures Report. Currently, Forward is preparing an
Interim Corrective Action Measures Plan that includes additional actions to prevent further migration of
the VOC plume, and reduce organic and inorganic exceedances of Water Quality Protection Standards.
I certify under penalty of law, that I have personally examined and am familiar with the information
submitted in this document and all attachments, and that based on my inquiry of those individuals
immediately responsible for obtaining this information, I believe that the information is true, accurate, and
complete.
