p s a � R� REPUBL/C 1s►� SERVICES Mr. Brendan Kenny Engineering Geologist Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board 11020 Sun Center Drive, Suite 200 Rancho Cordova, CA 95670 July 10, 2017 RE: Forward Landfill—Groundwater Treatment Facility Monitoring Report Dear Mr. Kenny: Forward Incorporated is pleased to submit this Quarterly Progress Report for the Forward Landfill groundwater treatment facility (GTF) to fulfill the requirements established by Waste Discharge Requirements(WDRs)Order No. R5-2003-0080. During the second quarter 2017 monitoring period, a violation of Facility Specification B.4 of Order R5- 2003-0080 occurred. Treated effluent discharged into the infiltration pond contained trace concentrations of up to three volatile organic compounds in the monthly effluent samples. In addition, cis-1,2- dichloroethene and tetrachloroethene were measured above the practical quantitation limit during the June sampling event. Total VOC concentrations in the effluent ranged from 0.6 pg/L to 1.85 pg/L during the monitoring period.
