The well should be located up gradient from the <br />underground water flow and a minimum of 150 feet from any disposa' <br />cell. <br />Page 45 and 57: Control of fugitive litter also depends on grope` <br />compaction of refuse in the cells and daily cover applied even in <br />the wet season. <br />Page 49: Details of the drainage from the entire 320 acres should <br />be shown on the final EIR along with details of the revegetation of <br />the closed disposal trenches including time frame. The last se: <br />on the page does not read correctly. <br />Page 50: The soil should be tested for proper rates of fertilis <br />application. Cultivation, harvesting and use of crops from re -seeded <br />areas is not addressed at all. <br />Page 52: Final cover of low permeability soil compacted 1 x 10 -7 cm/ <br />conflicts with statements made on page49 and 50 which indicate stock- <br />piled top soil is to be used for final cover. The use of tightly com-, <br />pacted, low permeability soil will make establishment of permanen <br />
