Harry Stockman <br />Staff - As a high area relative to the adjacent terrain, the <br />site will not experience flooding and will be protected from <br />the effects of runoff from storms having a predicted frequency <br />of once in 100 years. The staff drainage,study has determined <br />10 drainage areas as they exist today on the subject property. <br />The design retains these areas to continue to discharge pro- <br />portionately to these same existing water courses and thereby <br />will not alter, decrease or increase the existing drainage <br />problems of the adjacent properties. Moisture penetration <br />will be monitored through the installation of electronic <br />tensiometer equipment. <br />#6. Harry Stockman (cont). <br />Alleged that the foothills experience more windy days than t <br />area of the valley floor and that from the standpoint of tras <br />and fire fighting there is a hazard. I <br />Staff - The County will have its own fire fighting plan, and <br />wil have a well developed for fire fighting. County will <br />also have the potential for fighting fires in the area as well <br />as on the site. A fire break 4001 on the south and east will <br />be maintained as required by the State Forest Service Permit <br />for the landfill operation. <br />
