He also noted a new house well was re- <br />quired to put in a 50' seal and further noted that the pit <br />have concrete on the bottom and that the sides be sealed. <br />Staff - Pesticide cans will be received at the landfill after <br />t ey are properly cleansed as per state regulations and certi- <br />fied for disposal by the County Agricultural Commissioner. <br />A house well is sealed to prevent contamination from the sur- <br />face. The landfill excavations will not require sealing because <br />it will be limited to dry solid waste and will in essence be <br />a dry operation. The County will have to adhere to the San <br />Joaquin County Local Health District requirements like anyone <br />else. There will not be a double standard as implied by the <br />statement. <br />
