In addition the report must contain a proposal <br /> ground water and, when appropriate, vadose zone monitoring plan to <br /> assure long-term ground water protection. <br /> Stage One of the Harney Lane replacement site investigation will accom- <br /> plish the following objectives: <br /> 1. Provide an evaluation of the physical, geologic, and hydrogeologic <br /> characteristics of the Harney Lane replacement site to determine its <br /> suitability for use as a sanitary landfill. Data will be gathered <br /> to provide a site characterization report as required by <br /> Subchapter 15. <br /> 2. Prepare and submit to the Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) a ground-water monitoring plan as required by Subchapter 15. <br /> 3. Provide data forre aration of an Environmental Impact Report in <br /> A P <br /> conformance with CEQA. <br /> 4. Develop a preliminary engineering design including conceptual level <br /> engineering plans and conceptual plan text. <br /> Based on the above objectives, we have prepared the following Scope of <br /> Work. <br /> TASK 1 - Data Review <br /> Available geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, and engineering infor- <br /> mation pertaining to the replacement site and adjacent property will be <br /> reviewed and analyzed to obtain background data, to develop the field <br /> exploration program and to determine what additional data may be re- <br /> quired to complete the preliminary designs.
