L <br />I <br />L <br />I- <br />I <br />�II <br />i <br />1 <br />C <br />C <br />I <br />L <br />0 <br />0 <br />u <br />n <br />u <br />Landfill equipment haul roads will also be provided where needed within the ex- <br />cavation and on refuse fill surfaces. <br />Electrical power will be required for building and area lighting, building heating, <br />communications, pumping, and power tools. Power will be provided from the <br />existing utility lines along Harney Lane. Utility companies operating in the area <br />will be contacted to determine various utility requirements for the project. <br />Sufficient water is available and obtainable from on-site Well No. 1 in Module 9 <br />so that dust -control and fire -protection vehicles can be rapidly filled. Well No. 2 <br />will be used when Well No. 1 is abandoned during preparation of Module 9 (see <br />Figure 6-2). A new water supply well will be developed near the entrance area <br />for potable water. Wastewater generated from the site will be discharged into an <br />on-site septic tank system. <br />The following equipment is expected to be used on-site: <br />• one sheepsfoot compactor/roller <br />• one landfill compactor <br />• one scraper <br />• one water truck <br />• one bulldozer <br />• one road grader <br />• one pickup truck <br />• one wheel loader <br />In the event of equipment failure, backup and standby equipment will be fur- <br />nished by the San Joaquin County Department of Public Works or rented from <br />local contractors. <br />2.2 LANDFILLING PROCEDURES <br />,The landfill will be constructed; by the ramp -area method.
