Remaining Facility Capacity in CYs and Years: <br />Currently, all Central County Area waste is <br />taken, to the Foothill Landfill for disposal <br />except for refuse collector waste from the <br />Cities of Escalon and Stockton, and yard waste <br />collected by the City of Stockton. <br />The Foothill Landfill has a remaining <br />capacity of about 27,200,000 tons, or about <br />157,000,000 cy as measured at the gate. <br />Assuming an annual growth rate of 5%, and <br />achievement of waste diversion goals, the <br />remaining site life under various scenarios is <br />as follows: <br />Users Years <br />Current Waste Stream 60 <br />Inclusion of South County Waste 53 <br />Inclusion of South County & <br />City of Stockton Waste 43 <br />2. Forward, Inc. Landfill: <br />The Forward, Inc. Sanitary Landfill is a Class II <br />sanitary landfill that is privately owned and operated <br />and permitted to receive designated waste. The waste <br />shed for this site encompasses a large multi -county <br />area.
