They may be added in <br /> future updates if better data collection systems are <br /> implemented. <br /> Data compilation and reporting over the short-term and <br /> medium-term planning periods for waste diverted and <br /> disposed will be collected and reported annually. Waste <br /> generated will be calculated annually from the diversion <br /> and disposal data collected. Disposal data will be <br /> obtained from disposal site records. Diversion data will <br /> be requested quarterly from the waste collection companies <br /> and from recycling entities serving the unincorporated <br /> area. <br /> B. Current Waste Diversion Data: <br /> 1. Source Reduction, Recycling, & Composting Activities: <br /> The ACT requires that current waste diversion <br /> activities be included in the SRRE. Waste diversion <br /> activities that may be counted toward meeting the <br /> County's diversion goals fall within three categories <br /> - Source Reduction, Recycling, and Composting. The <br /> current diversion activities are presented in more <br /> detail in Chapters Three, Four, and Five, and in <br /> Appendix One.
