Branch circuit conductors shall be color coded as follows: <br />For all 120V to ground circuits: <br />Phase A - black <br />Phase B - red <br />Phase C - blue <br />Neutral - white <br />I. Control conductors shall be color coded as follows: <br />Underground 120 volt - red <br />Grounded 120 volt - white <br />Interlock from other systems - yellow <br />Control wiring and all other stranded wiring to screw connections shall be <br />provided with T & B "STA-KON' terminals. <br />J. The neutral conductors and all other exposed non-current carrying metal <br />parts shall be grounded as required by Code. Grounding bushings shall be <br />used as required and shall be O.Z. insulated Type "BL", or approved equal. <br />No grounding shall be made to gas piping. Where equipment or devices <br />are served by non-metallic ducts, enclosures shall be grounded by means <br />of a code size bar or green insulated equipment ground wire installed in <br />the duct with the current carrying conductors and be bonded securely in <br />the cabinet where the ground wire terminates. Copper jumpers shall <br />bridge flexible conduit and be installed with ground wire. <br />K. Area lighting for the Flare Station shall be by means of 300 watts each, <br />Hubbell QL505 quartz fixtures with T/4 lamps. The fixtures will be <br />located in the flare compound as indicated on the assembly drawing. The <br />ON/OFF switch shall be located on the control panel and should be <br />reachable without opening panel. <br />3.02 TESTS, INSPECTION <br />A. The Contractor shall provide all necessary personnel and equipment, make <br />required tests, and secure required approvals from the Engineer and <br />governmental agencies having jurisdiction. <br />B. Test system for shorts and grounds. Faulty wiring shall be removed and <br />replaced.
