POWER ON <br />PILOT ON <br />AUTO SHUTOFF VALVE OPEN <br />BLOWER RUN <br />FLARE ON <br />5. Sixty seconds (field adjustable) after SOV 401 is energized, <br />SOV 402 is de -energized, the pilot flame turns off, and the "PILOT <br />ON" indicator lights turns off. <br />6. If, after the pilot turns off, the flame safeguard system does not <br />detect a flame, the blower shuts off, the SDV 401 closes, and the <br />start-up sequence terminates. The following lamp indications are <br />shown: <br />POWER ON <br />AUTO SHUTOFF VALVE CLOSED <br />FLAME FAILURE <br />7. If, after the pilot turns off, the flame safeguard system detects a <br />flame, the "FLARE ON" indicator light illuminates and the system <br />will run. The system will have a set amount of time (normally 10 <br />minutes) to reach the minimum temperature set point. . If the <br />minimum temperature is not reached, the flare will shut down and <br />the following lamp indication will be shown: <br />FLARE LOW TEMPERATURE SHUTDOWN <br />Pushing the "reset" button during start-up resets the 10 minute timer, <br />keeping the system from shutting off on low temperature. <br />1.03 NORMAL OPERATION <br />A. During normal operation, the following lamp indications are shown: <br />POWER ON <br />AUTO SHUTOFF VALVE OPEN <br />BLOWER RUN <br />FLARE ON <br />The flare temperature may be controlled by the PLC or temperature <br />controller to operate the motor -operated dampers on the flare. Provisions <br />shall be made in the controls to keep the dampers from fully closing based <br />on a programmable percent closed setting. The flare temperature shall be <br />North County LFG Collection System 2 FLARE STATION PLC CONTROL <br />San Joaquin County Public Works Section 16020 <br />
