SECTION 1 <br /> COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS <br /> SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> SECTION 1. SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS <br /> 1-1.01 GENERAL.--The work embraced herein shall be done in <br /> accordance with the Standard Specifications of the Department of Transportation dated <br /> July 2002, hereinafter referred to as the Standard Specifications, and the Standard <br /> Plans of the Department of Transportation dated July 2002, hereinafter referred to as <br /> the Standard Plans, insofar as the same may apply and in accordance with the <br /> following special provisions. <br /> In case of conflict between the Standard Specifications and these special <br /> provisions, the special provisions shall take precedence over and be used in lieu of <br /> such conflicting portions. <br /> Wherever in the Standard Specifications, special provisions, Notice to <br /> Contractors, proposal, contract or other contract documents the following terms are <br /> used, the intent and meaning shall be interpreted as follows: <br /> State, or County. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
