I just want to clarify: We may process residential green waste
including items such as grass clippings as long as we adhere to the current standards for organics
processing at the North County facility?
Thank you,
David Gorton
From: Robert McClellon [EH] [mailto:RMcClellon@sjcehd.com]
Sent: Tuesday, August 17, 2010 10:33 AM
To: David Gorton
Cc: Alison Hudson; Natalia Subbotnikova [EH]
Subject: RE: Organics at North County
David, thanks for the information. The EHD concerns would be odor, fire and contamination (metal, glass,
food, haz waste screening). North County is a fully permitted site and is permitted to handle the waste.
Best regards. Robert
8/23/2010
