Thank you for your guidance. Our tentative timeline on the relocation is the summer of 2012. In the meantime, we'll continue
putting "band-aids" on the existing pad.
TOGETHER WE ACHIEVE THE EXTRAORDINARY
Jaime L. We are good for now. All we need is a notification that the change is going to
occur prior to the change. At the time of the next 5 year permit review the JTD will need to be amended to reflect the change. Robert
Robert McClellon, Program Coordinator REHS
Environmental Health Department
600 E. Main Street
Stockton, CA 95202
(209)468-0332
From: Jaime Perez [mailto:jperez@sjgov.org]
Sent: Wednesday, August 10, 20119:55 AM
To: Robert McClellon [EH]
Cc: Desi Reno; Alison Hudson; Michael Carroll; Steven Carter; Brian Closs; Sylvia Wilson; Marcus Davenport; Billy Baler
Subject: NCRC&SL - PROPOSED NEW LOCATION FOR GREEN/WOOD WASTE PROCESSING AREA
Robert,
As discussed, I've reviewed the JTD for the NCRC&SL and have attached page 64 which addresses the location of the greenwood waste
processing area. According to the language in page 64 which I've highlighted, it appears we have flexibility as to the location of the
greenwood waste area. Therefore, we may be able to relocate the area without a JTD amendment. What do you think? The reasons for
moving that activity are:
1. It will allow us to construct a pad designed to withstand the operation (i.e. portion of pad would be concrete to prevent potholes).
2. Will not be in the way of future modules 8 & 9.
3. Closer to the Recycling Center; therefore, shorter distance to move green/wood waste.
4. Eliminates traffic going to areas were landfill operations are taking place.
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thank you.
8/10/2011
