San Joaquin Valley <br />Air Pollution Control District <br />PERMIT UNIT: N-1119-1-0 EXPIRATION DATE: 11/30/2002 <br />EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION: <br />MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE LANDFILL, 12.4 MILLION CUBIC METER CAPACITY (185 ACRES) <br />1. No air contaminant shall be discharged into the atmosphere for a period or periods aggregating more than three <br />minutes in any one hour which is as dark as, or darker than, Ringelmann 1 or 20% opacity. [District Rule 4 10 1] <br />Z. No air contaminant shall be released into the atmosphere which causes a public nuisance. [District Rule 4102] <br />3. All equipment or systems installed or used to achieve compliance with the terms and conditions of this Permit to <br />Operate shall be maintained in good working order and be operated as efficiently as possible to minimize air pollution <br />emissions. [District Rule <br />2070] <br />The APCD shall be notified immediately of any failure of air pollution control equipment, emissions monitoring <br />equipment, or any process resulting in an increase in emissions above the allowable emission limits (including State <br />RFederal).
