North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfall (SWIS
Number 39 -AA -0022).
The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has reviewed the above cited documents and has
the following comments:
Landfill Gas Migration and Control System. The NCRC & SL has a perimeter landfill gas migration
monitoring system that consists of 18 triple -probe soil gas wells (SG -1 through SG -22), not (SG -1 through
SG -18), as indicated on Page 3of the report. It is anticipated that four other single -probe soil gas wells (SG -4,
SG -5, SG -6, and SG -7), not three single -probe soil gas wells (SG -5, SG -6, and SG -7), as indicated on Page 3
of the report, will be decommissioned prior to closure.
Revise the plan to address above concerns.
