direction data compiled at the Stockton weather stationr in San
Joaquin County with data collected from 1941 to 1945. The estimated
0 windrose shows winds blowing most frequently from the west ( 1B.B
percent of the time) and northwest (15.5 percent of the time), with a
m calm period occurring 9.B percent of the time.
In 19B1 a wind rose was developed for the Tracy Municipal Airport,
which is approximately 2 miles to the northeast of the Corral Hollow
Sanitary Landfill, A copy of this windrose, developed by Reinard W.
m Brandley, Consulting Airport Engineer for the City of Tracy, is shown
as Figure B. This windrose was developed using E4 hour observations
from January through December of 1973, and indicates that winds are
@ predominantly out of the west. There also is a minor trend of
occasional winds out of the south east. This wind direction data is
0 generally in agreement with the windrose developed from the Stockton
weather station in Figure 7, indicating that Figure 7 which reflects
= the regional wind patterns for the upper San Joaquin Valley,
accurately characterizes wind patterns at the Corral Hollow Sanitary
Landfill.
-- f) Geology:
1) A geologic map and geologic cross-sections are presented in the
SWAT Report for the site.
m 12
