4. Safety: <br /> Safety meetings are conducted monthly at the landfill <br /> by the Public Works Supervisor or Superintendent. <br /> Safety equipment at the site includes the following: <br /> a) Fire Extinguishers <br /> b) Dust Masks <br /> C) Fist Aid Kits <br /> d) Gloves <br /> e) Hard-hats <br /> f) Goggles <br /> g) Ear Protection <br /> h) Roll over protection installed on all equipment <br /> i) Scraper, Dozer and Compactor have enclosed cabs with <br /> air filtration systems <br /> 5. Security: <br /> The landfill is provided with a chain link fence and <br /> lockable gate to prevent unauthorized access from <br /> Corral Hollow Road. There is a site operations trailer <br /> with lockable storage for personnel items. The site <br /> has an enclosed, lockable metal shop building for <br /> storage of equipment. <br /> 6. Traffic circulation: <br /> Traffic enters the site through a gate along Corral <br /> Hollow Road and is processed on the west side of the <br /> operation trailer just inside the gate. The entrance <br /> worker inspects and measures the load, charges the <br /> appropriate fee, issues a receipt, and then verbally <br /> directs the user to the unloading area. An unpaved <br /> road is maintained to the unloading area with <br /> direction signs posted periodically. Site users <br /> proceed to the unloading area, dump their loads, <br /> proceed back to the gate via the unpaved road, and then <br /> exit to Corral Hollow Road through the gate on the east <br /> side of the operation trailer. <br /> 7. Noise, litter, dust and odor: <br /> Descriptions of site conditions relating to, and the <br /> methods used for controlling odor, dust and litter at the <br /> landfill are contained above in Sections III (D3) , (D5) and <br /> (D6) , respectively. <br /> 35 <br />
