Date: <br /> File: 2-89-CUP 3880 Holly Drive (APN 211-240-011) <br /> Lead Agency: City of Tracy Community Development Department <br /> Project Title: Tracy Delta Solid Waste Management Solid Waste <br /> Transfer Station and Recycle Center <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> This initial study consists of a proposal from Tracy Delta Disposal Service to construct and <br /> operate a solid waste transfer station and recycle center to serve the City of Tracy and <br /> surrounding unincorporated areas. Both commercial and public vehicles will utilize the <br /> facility. <br /> CALIFORNIA ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY ACT (CEQA) REQUIREMENTS <br /> This report consists of a detailed project description, description of the environmental <br /> setting, discussion of eighteen major environmental attributes which could be affected by <br /> the proposed development, and a discussion of the environmental evaluation. <br /> Each of the eighteen major environmental attributes contains three sub-sections. The <br /> purposes of the subsections are to: <br /> 1) Identify the specific environmental setting, <br /> 2) Delineate possible impacts within a checklist, and <br /> 3) Explain check list responses and indicate tentative measures to mitigate <br /> potential impacts identified. <br /> As such, this report conforms to the Initial Study guidelines of the California Environmental <br /> Quality Act (CEQA), as adopted by the City of Tracy. <br /> The Initial Study will serve as the basis for preparation of a Mitigated Negative Declaration <br /> referencing those measures which must be included in the project, or agreed to by the <br /> applicant, to warrant a finding of no significant adverse environmental impacts. <br />
