I. AESTHETICS <br /> A. Description <br /> Currently the project area is vacant and barren. The construction site is <br /> currently unpaved and devoid of aesthetic features. There is no obstruction <br /> or opportunity for scenic view from or across the site. The property is <br /> located approximately 300 feet north of the 1-205 corridor and across Larch <br /> Roac from the City of Tracy sewage treatment plant. The area is <br /> characterized by industrial land uses. <br /> B. Env ronmental Impacts <br /> Will the proposal result in: Yes Maybe No <br /> 1. The obstruction of any scenic <br /> vista or view open to the public, <br /> or will the proposal result in <br /> the creation of any aesthetically <br /> offensive site open to public view? X <br /> C. Discussion of Evaluation <br /> The proposed project will consist of commercial buildings up to 35 feet high <br /> and there is no obstruction of any scenic view or vista from the public at <br /> large. <br /> D. Mitigation <br /> None necessary. <br /> XVII. CULTURAL RESOURCES <br /> A. Description <br /> According to the files of the Central California Information Center, which <br /> catalogs data on cultural resources in San Joaquin Valley, no historic sites <br /> have been located within the project area. No cultural services have been <br /> conducted in the project area either. All land around the project is either <br /> cultivated or developed, and there are no historic sites remaining. <br /> 39 <br />
