File No. 20-1008-36 <br /> July 14, 1995 <br /> 9 NONCONFORMANCE <br /> Any deficiencies or failed tests shall be recorded on the daily log. Deficiencies or failed areas that <br /> are corrected and retested that day shall be marked as corrected on the daily log, and no separate <br /> Nonconformance Report is required. <br /> When a tested area of deficiency or nonconformance has not been brought into conformance or <br /> has not been tested for conformance by the QA/QC technician by the time the technician leaves <br /> the site for the day, a separate Nonconformance Report shall be written. <br /> An area of nonconformance shall not be left more than five days without being brought into <br /> conformance, unless approved by the Engineer. In the case of delayed conformance, a Delayed <br /> Conformance Report shall be prepared by the QA/QC technician and kept in a separate file. <br /> After bringing an area to conformance, the conformance shall be recorded on the daily log and on <br /> the original Nonconformance Report and Delayed Conformance Report, with the date of <br /> conformance and the confirming test results. <br /> In the event of a failing test, all material for the lift being tested extending to the adjacent passing <br /> tests shall be removed and/or reworked until passing tests are obtained.
